Depression





Introduction to Depression:
We all have felt down and sadness at some point of our live but it is  normal to us human beings. But many people experience much more than sadness in our lives. Many experience depression. What is depression? Depression can be defined as when mood, feelings, and thoughts interfere with one  life. It gives one the thoughts of feeling life-less, nothing/empty, and indifferent in life. It can be cause by imbalance of chemicals in the brain which are intense which last for quite a while.

What is depression? 
Depression is a mental problems that cause one to be depressed in mood and have self issues.

Some signs of Depression:
Feeling worthless
Hard time sleeping/ a lot of sleep
Continuous negative thoughts of oneself or something
Lost of appetite or a lot of consumption of food
Irritable and temper
Hard time focusing in most cases
loss of interaction with people
Usual expression in the face
lost of daily activities such as music, television, etc.
Sadness


What are the causes of depression:
Depression is cause by  chemicals that aren't balance in the brain(neurotransmitters), If it is run in your family you have a 50 percent of getting it, women have higher percent chance of getting it, older people have a higher risk of getting it because many live alone and have no social support, Many problems of the body such as cancer, heart disease, and etc increase your chance of being depressed, emotional/physical abuse or grieving of one life can trigger depression, and medications can cause symptoms of depression which make it worse in most cases.


Treatments for Depression include:
You should learn more about Depression in result of cause and effect.
Take time to find a good treatment
Take medications/ seeks a psychiatrist.
Go to counseling/ therapy
Stay around people
Do think things you like doing before this problem occurred
Get support from family/friends
Being commitment in getting better is a huge step
Don't only of relying on medicine only
Makes changes in life
Have a good attitude
Try to smile
Tell someone about your problems
